How to Get into Cornell
  • Take, ace, and pass the exams for 11 AP Classes
  • Start taking your ACT and SATs early (like, 10th grade early), even if they're just practice tests. Get a 31/1400 or higher
  • Take SAT subject tests on classes you took in high school as soon as you've finished taking them.
  • Be the leader of like 5 clubs, or be the founder of at least 2.
  • Be student body president.
  • Be a varsity sport athlete.
  • Be the leader in your school play.
  • Be the mayor.
  • Be a millionaire, and donate to the school.
  • Be a legacy.
  • Disregard the three above. Although those seem to have helped some others.
  • Make sure your passions shine through in your essays. Explicitly state why you are meant to study at Cornell and how you've worked your entire life to study at this one amazing program only offered by Cornell (kiss up to them and make it sound like you would fit no where else.)

Most of these worked for me. Except for 3 (guess which).

Best of luck!
