Best Cornell Photo Spots

Whether you’re looking for a new location for photoshoots or an ideal spot for graduation photos, here are the most common instagrammable places to take pictures around campus.

  1. Clock tower

  2. Law school

  3. Arts quad

  4. In your dorm

  5. Cascadilla

  6. A fraternity/sorority party

  7. Outside of your major’s building

  8. The library (Mann, A.D. White, or the new AAP one)

  9. The architecture building glow bubbles

  10. Near and in Sage Chapel

  11. Ho Plaza

  12. CTB

  13. In front of your Greek life house

  14. Libe Slope

  15. Observatory

  16. North campus gyms

  17. The footbridge (or along any bridge)

  18. HFJ Museum

  19. Cornell Botanic Gardens

  20. Willard Straight Hall

  21. Cornell Observatory

  22. Collegetown (especially during o-week or senior week)

  23. Schoellkopf field/bleachers or the parking garage roof near it

Off campus places that are still cute for photos:

  1. Indian Creek Farm

  2. Ithaca Farmer’s Market

  3. Stewart Park

  4. Six Mile Creek Vineyard

  5. Robert Treman State Park

  6. Buttermilk

  7. Taughannock Falls

  8. The commons (especially during a festival like Apple fest)
